What makes one decision better than another?

If you knew the answer to all the questions would it make it any easier to decide?

Perhaps not. For knowledge alone does not serve as a basis to measure the value of one circumstance over another. 

Perhaps then the decisions we make are not as important as the conviction with which they are taken.

Because someone with enough conviction can get away with doing the wrong thing entirely.
